Books by John: ‘Signposts of The Spiritual Journey' ‘So' & More…
Join me on this journey of being and expression in the here and now.
There is a shelf in my office stacked with journals. Every word written I’ve ever published has a home there or a deep root in some way. Every morning with coffee, out of the creativity that has always demanded flow, black ink rivers onto the paper. Though I have published so well and widely, some areas have stayed closed to me with the background and life I have had as an ‘outsider,’ and I don’t have the ego to fight the power or break the glass ceilings constantly. I leave it all to what I call the ‘what is’, and from there, energy, rebellion and transgression through love naturally express themselves atomically and personally. This space is an extension of my journals; it is a space to be and express life, reflecting and illuminating our humanity through writing.
‘The Siddique Space’ is a reader-supported publication; you are invited to take out a paid subscription if you are moved to support what we are doing here and feel that writers should be paid for their work.
Through this medium, I hope to build and share a wide-ranging yet integrative body of work for a responsive and heartful audience and community. Paid subscribers and founders are those who wish to support the work. They also get access to John’s Writing Club - An occasional creative workshop community to encourage your writing, editing, and building your body of work while helping and challenging you to explore new areas of your creativity and expression, full access to all the writings here and also occasional extra pieces and treats.
I will share reflections, memoir pieces, photographs, essays, poetry, writings, and art, and talk about writing books and things that have meaning for me. There will also be shards of thoughts and commentary around anything of our world that my spirit wishes to speak on. There will generally be one underlying theme - things that I love, remember love is always transgressive - and I hope you will share the things you love in response.
