Dear reader
Here's a little Sunday reading for you. Gosh, what a thought—that I have the safety and space to read on a Sunday—what a thing that is in our world.
I want to share two guest poems with you today by fabulous fellow Substackers (and friends) Jonathan Chant and Drew Levister, who you’d be crazy not to follow. Both are members of our monthly writing club here, where I share guidance, inspiration, and promptings gathered from a thirty-plus year professional writing career. I used to teach creative writing a great deal along with my writing, but hardly at all these days, preferring just to teach meditation and do my own writing, but our writing club offers a space where we can share a few nuggets from time to time to be supportive of fellow writers.
In the writing club, we open for submissions from time to time, as it’s just great to share, and Drew and Jonathan sent me a couple of selections of work, out of which these two seemed to wink at me today. I hope you enjoy these as much as I have. I won’t give comment; you are reader enough to enter the texts well for yourselves,
Thank you so much, Drew and Jonathan for gracing us with these pieces.
Blessings
John
Bless you John. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
