Dear One
Tomorrow I’ll be in literary conversation at the fabulous Bradford Literature Festival celebrating 20 years of my first book The Prize. So I’d love to share with you here one of the most popular poems from the book, which looks at the fears of being an adult child in relationship to one’s parents and how by intuition I managed to make a small breakthrough in relationship with my mother with whom things were always difficult.
I hope you enjoy.
Blessings
John

Wonderful poem, John; I enjoyed your tender reading of it. I did not know its Oxfam connection until now; that's marvelous.
